Tree Tops Montessori Pre-School was born 1st December 2000. It was the first Montessori Pre-School to be established in Midrand and is currently owned by Principal Jenny de Kock.
Tree Tops children have the opportunity to reach their full potential in the beautiful, well equipped Montessori environment guided by dedicated qualified Staff. Our classes are small – a ratio of 12 children to 1 qualified Teacher and a staff ration of 1 staff member to 5 children. This creates a home from home atmosphere and gives every child that extra special attention which results in accelerated learning.
The five areas of the Montessori curriculum awakens a love for learning in Tree Tops children and opens up their young minds as they absorb the knowledge available to them. Music, art, science and gross motor sessions are also part of our daily programme developing confidence in every child as talented Staff encourages and nurtures their individual talents.
18mth old children who begin their education at Tree Tops and complete our programme at six years old are well prepared for their Primary and High School years.
At Tree Tops we create a learning environment which is happy and full of exciting discoveries, where each child is allowed the freedom to develop an individual work-rhythm. Our children are thoroughly prepared for future learning.
A foundation will thus be built in your child's early years which will prepare him/her for a life of self-directed learning resulting in meaningful work in the world. The children will thus move on to successful careers in their new school environments whether Traditional or Montessori.
