Tree Tops Montessori is a unique preschool in that:

• We primarily use the Montessori Method but we also incorporate the best of the Traditional and Reggio Emilia Methods. This ensures that our children are well rounded and are able to feed easily into any primary school.
• All staff are highly qualified for the position they hold and our staff turnover is minimal. All the teachers are registered with SACE.
• Our classes are limited to twelve children per class: the ratio of qualified teacher to pupil is 1:12, while the staff to pupil ratio is 1:5. These ratios ensure individual attention which in turn, accelerates learning.
• Our aim is to develop each child to their own individual ability and we do not cap their learning or limit them to a class standard, but allow them to go as far as they are able to in all of the different learning areas. We want them to leave Tree Tops with amazing self-esteem and confidence, enquiring minds and a desire to learn.
• Our interactive Language Development and theme room, as well as our Language Development programme facilitates an excellent grasp of and understanding of the English language. Good communication skills are vital for future learning.
• We have a Parent Committee to ensure excellent communication between the parents and the teaching staff as well as to offer the parents a platform to use to share any ideas that they might have regarding the school.
• Our Parent Committee voted to have the fees all inclusive which means no added extras at the end of the month. Fees include all relevant meals, a yearly photograph package, Educational shows, a yearly eye or ear test, stationary and toiletries.
• Our staff are constantly attending courses and studying further in order to adapt their teaching to the latest methods on offer thus benefiting the children.
• At Treetops Montessori we believe that every child that comes into our care will be treated with love, respect and kindness. By allowing our children to work at their own pace and guiding them through the curriculum, we inspire our children to develop independence and a true love of learning and create a solid grounding for life.
